Liberty Teams Novice – Online Course Discover the magic of working with more than one horse while building the clarity, connection and communication needed to create true harmony as a team. In Liberty Teams Novice, you’ll learn my step-by-step process for developing two horses from individual partners into a synchronized liberty team. We’ll start with selecting and socializing your horses, evaluating their individual foundations, and teaching them to work together on the lead line before progressing to liberty. You’ll learn how to help horses find their “sweet spot” together, work through differences in speed, confidence and herd hierarchy, and develop synchronized stops, back-ups, transitions, circles, changes of direction and basic sideways work. From there, we’ll progress into the round pen at liberty and begin preparing the team for larger spaces, as well as ridden + lead line and eventually ridden + liberty work. The goal isn't simply to have two horses following you at the same time. It's to create Horse + Horse + Handler harmony through a foundation of trust, respect, clarity and communication. Prerequisite: Horses should ideally have a solid individual foundation and be graduates of the Liberty Novice and Posture Focused Training® Novice levels. Build the individuals. Bring them together.
